Pity those who are so 'in love' that they are willing to do anything, even if it hurts themselves, for the ones they love. Pity those who suffer because of 'love'. Think not they are foolish for everyone wants to be happy. But karma works in such a way that even the wise could be blinded. I wonder what they owe the persons of their affection in the past life. I think that in many cases, we owe ther persons of our affection in the past life. They benefit due to our sacrifice. But the ironic thing is that sometimes both suffer (whether they know it or not) in a relationship, just like enemies suffer when fighting each other. Even the strongest fighter cannot defeat an enemy who he can't recognise for who he is. There is no escape; very single debt has to be paid. Just pay it magnanimously and hope that the 'enemy' won't bother you again in the future
